Think of the magic that courses through Yggdrasil like an electrical current. It's normally contained and directed, but if you tear a hole in the plastic covering and throw the right conduit on top of the wire, you can make a spark.

I don't think it's a bad thing to expect people to at least come up to a fraction of your level before you explain it. It means you can have intelligent conversations.
